Tunisia Thursday book its semi-finals ticket with an 86-67 points victory over Morocco in the third quarter finals of the 26th FIBA Africa Championship for Men at the Palais des Sports Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The Tunisian were superb from the begining of the game to the buzzer winning the first three quarters by 17-11, 22-13 and 22-18 points and drew levels with their North African neighbour in the last quarter by 25 points apiece to move into the semi finals.
Five Tunisian players recorded a double figure on the score sheet with Amine Rzig leading his side with 16 points and 4 rebounds, Radhouane Slimane had 14 points and 8 rebounds Salah Mejri recorded a double double figure of 13 points, 11 rebounds and 2 block-shots.
The duo of Marourad El-Mabrouk and Mohamed Ghyaza added 12 points and 10 points, 6 rebounds to give their side victory.
